Advanced Engineering

For rising 9th & 10th grade students

This camp is designed for students who have had prior school or out of school experiences with engineering, designing, or integrated STEM programs. General processes and topics in electrical, mechanical, civil and environmental, and computer science will be introduced through carefully designed activities and projects that mirror the engineering design process. The camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday with a capacity of 20 students and includes the following:

• Curriculum and projects designed by CIEE faculty, staff, and counselors
• All project materials provided
• SMU Lyle Engineering students and DFW college Science & Engineering students are hired to provide class support and serve as mentors
• Lunches and snacks
• Official camp bag, t-shirt and water bottle

• Girls Only Camp | July 6–10, 2026
• Boys Only Camp | July 13–17, 2026
• Co-ed Camp | July 20–24, 2026
