High school students and their chaperones are invited to join our full-day programming on the SMU campus. Registration is required to attend in-person. Teachers or administrators may use the link below to register all students and staff for the event.

High school attendees should plan to be on campus from approximately 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

For Undergraduates

For Undergraduates

Undergraduates and other interested college students attending SMU or nearby colleges are invited to join our afternoon programming on campus. Please use the link below to register yourself for the event.

Our afternoon events begin at 12:15 PM. If you would like to eat lunch before the event, boxed lunches will be available beginning at 11:15 AM.

Our formal program for students ends at 4:00 PM, and we will host an optional networking mixer until 5:00 PM. 

For Law Students

For Law Students

Law students from across the country are invited to attend our afternoon presentations via Zoom.

Students attending SMU or nearby law schools are encouraged to join in person. Lunch will be available at 11:15 AM, and our programming begins at 12:15 PM. 

All law students should use the link below to register via Zoom, please note whether you will attend the event on campus or virtually.

For the Public

Our in-person evening event is open to the public, but registration is required. This event will feature three system-impacted individuals, in conversation with Deason Center Director Pamela Metzger. The speakers will share their personal experiences with the criminal legal system and discuss the importance of zealous defense from the earliest stages after arrest.

The event begins at 6:30 PM in Karcher Auditorium at SMU Dedman School of Law. Please use the link below to register for a free ticket.
