Emily Elson
Emily comes to SMU from Galveston, Texas. She intends to major in Physics and minor in Mechanical Engineering and Public Policy and International Affairs - and is especially interested in Astrophysics. With her experience and poster publication in a Factor VIII medical research lab at the University of Texas Medical Branch, she intends to connect the worlds of science, engineering and public policy together in order to facilitate research. In addition to the HCM Tower Scholars Program, Emily is a member of the University Honors and Dedman College Scholars programs.
