Ryan Cross, Events Committee Chair
Ryan Cross works at American Airlines, where he specializes in the strategy of the AAdvantage® frequent flyer program. He previously worked on the airlines' fleet planning team, managing the world's largest commercial airline fleet (1,500+ aircraft). He supported the company's landmark order for over 250 new aircraft from Airbus, Boeing and Embraer. Prior to joining American, Ryan held various finance, strategy and sales roles throughout the aviation industry, including at the jet engines division of the General Electric Company (GE), Morten Beyer & Agnew, and United Parcel Service (UPS). Ryan earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and international studies from SMU, where he participated in the John G. Tower Scholars Program, University Honors Program, Armentrout Scholars Program, Hilltop-New Century Scholars Program, Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
