Dissertation Title:

"The Gas Shall Not Flow: President Reagan and the 1981-2 Siberian Pipeline Sanctions"

Thomas is a 7th year Ph.D. candidate from New Hampshire. His research examines US and Western Cold War energy and national security strategy and the diplomatic fallout in the Western alliance from President Reagan's 1981-82 sanctions on the Western European funded Soviet Siberian Pipeline. Thomas currently teaches at Ursuline Academy and is working towards the completion of his dissertation.
