The consolidated menu system can be used on school, division, or departmental sites.This is the preferred menu system for sites with a marketing focus.

It allows you to display up to three menu items, which will remain consistent throughout your site. You can also create a customized flyout navigation menu as well as a customized flyout search menu.

Although this option cannot be paired with the full-width menu system, departments within a major division can switch to using the full-width menu system if the menu items need to change for the department.

Usage guidelines

  • Keep menu items brief. Menu items must display on a single line.

  • Focus on the needs of your external audience, such as prospective students, when determining which items to display. Limit links that serve internal audience, such as faculty and staff, to the flyout navigation menu (preferred) or footer.
