Graduation Survey

The SMU Graduation Survey aims to gather valuable information about the initial career paths and post-graduation outcomes of our recent graduates. The Graduation Survey focuses on various aspects of your post-graduation experience, including employment status, job titles, industries, salaries, geographic locations, and institutions where you continue your education. Much of the data gathered in this survey meets mandatory reporting requirements established by the Department of Education and other entities. By participating in this survey, you will help us gain deeper insights into the job market and educational experiences, as well as the transition from academia to the professional world. This data will provide a comprehensive overview of outcomes and trends among recent graduates, enabling the university to make informed decisions that shape the educational landscape and improving career guidance for current and future students.

Your responses will be treated with the utmost confidentiality, and any shared information will be anonymized. Only aggregated data will be reported. Because this data is critical to the university and its collection is required, the university reserves the right to place transcript holds on graduating students until they have completed the survey. Any hold placed will be removed within 24 business hours upon completion of the survey.
