CSD Scholarships
Certificate in Spiritual Direction Scholarship Requests
CSD faculty and graduates have established a scholarship fund for students in the CSD program who need tuition assistance. Current CSD students can receive scholarship funds to help cover the tuition costs of one weekend per year during their time in the program. Scholarship funds do not cover travel or lodging.
Scholarship requests must be received no later than 30 days prior to the CSD weekend to which it will be applied.
Once the request is received, the scholarship committee with review your request. Our goal is for you will receive a response within 7 business days. Please note: Scholarship assistance varies from weekend-to-weekend based on the number of requests and available funds.
If for any reason you are unable to attend the CSD weekend for which you received your scholarship, the awarded scholarships cannot be forwarded to another CSD weekend.
Certificate in Spiritual Direction Scholarship Donations
Many graduates have supported the scholarship to glorify God in response to their experience in the CSD program. Support our current students in the Spiritual Direction program by making a donation any time!
To set up an online one-time or recurring donation please use the button below and follow these steps:
1. Enter the amount of your donation.
2. Select "SMU Fund for Perkins" as your gift designation.
3. Click "Give Now."
4. Select your Gift Option, click "Next"
5. Enter "Certificate in Spiritual Direction" in the "Tell us what inspired your gift" field.
6. Click "Submit"
7. Follow the prompts to check out and complete your donation.
