The 2019 Hong Kong protests have raised important questions about social movement and politics. But they also have religious dimensions as Christians take on leadership roles and churches offer sanctuary to protesters. Featured speaker Dr. Lap Yan Kung, professor of Theology, The Divinity School, The Chinese University of Hong Kong explains the religious and secular issues underlying the protests, then joins a panel to discuss the implications for religious communities in Hong Kong and around the world.
