Explore Graduate Theological Education During "Inside Perkins" Event

DALLAS (SMU) – Considering graduate theological education?

All prospective degree and non-degree students are invited to explore the wide-ranging options offered by Perkins School of Theology-Southern Methodist University during Inside Perkins, a free  information session, set for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7.

Inside Perkins participants will have an opportunity to engage with students and faculty, attend a class and worship, tour the school’s facilities and learn more about admissions and financial aid. There will also be a time for conversation with Perkins Dean Craig C. Hill. Additionally, attendees can learn more and inquire about Perkins’ Global Theological Education and Intern programs as well as take part in a panel with current students. Attending one of two evening classes from 6 to 8:50 p.m. also is an option.  View complete schedule here.

“Inside Perkins is a unique opportunity for potential students to engage one-on-one with our faculty and students, to experience our vibrant community and campus first-hand, and to consider Perkins as next step in their journey of deeper understanding of faith and ministry,” said Dr. Margot Perez-Greene, Associate Dean for Enrollment Management at Perkins School of Theology. “The programs and offerings we offer at Perkins certainly will prepare individuals for service within a wide range of positions in both traditional and non-traditional ministries."

An important reminder: all applicants who submit a completed application before March 1, 2018, will receive a fee waiver.
