The Financial Aid Office at Perkins School of Theology is committed to serving you by providing information to secure the necessary financial resources to meet your educational goals and financial obligations. Our financial aid coordinator will offer personal attention to help explore a multitude of available scholarships and payment plans.
Deadlines for scholarships for Fall 2021 will be announced shortly.
Our goal is to help students with financial assistance who would not be able to receive theological preparation without aid. We expect that you and your family will contribute to the fullest extent of your ability from income and assets. When considering ways to fund your theological education, we encourage you to explore all possibilities and adhere to application submission dates. It is your responsibility to complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in a timely manner.
Keep in mind:
- The FAFSA applications for federal and state financial aid for the 2020-2021 academic year are now available to submit.
- SMU offers several monthly payment plans. Visit the Bursar’s website for payment due dates for 2020-2021 and other details.
Resources in the form of outside scholarships and grants can provide additional financial support for Perkins students.
