Join SMU Guildhall on December 2-3, 2017 for a special student-led game-a-thon, which will raise funds for Children's Miracle Network. This event will include 24 hours of gameplay by our students, featuring popular games, and will be streamed on the SMU Guildhall Twitch page.

How it works:
Extra Life is a 24-hour fundraising and gaming marathon. Since its inception in 2008, the Extra Life organization has raised more than $30 million. On Dec. 2-3, we will join gamers from around the world to play games and accept donations from our friends and community to help heal sick and injured kids!
Our Goal: $7500
This is SMU Guildhall’s third year to organize an Extra Life event, and in that time we have collectively raised over $12,000. Our goal this year is to raise $7500 for the Plano Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. All donations are tax-deductible and will go to our local Children's Miracle Network hospital to make miracles happen for families who desparately need them.
All funds we raise up to $10,000 will be generously matched by the Hersh Foundation!
We are pleased to also include an appearance by local Overwatch eSports team, Dallas Fuel, on Sunday starting at 5:15pm. They will discuss the life of an eSports professional gamer. Additionally, we will be giving away two copies of Star Wars Battlefront II provided by generous alumni donors. We will have a few other fun activities and smaller giveaways that we'll announce during the streams of each game.
