About Afroz Hasan

Afroz Hassan, is the Program Coordinator for the Turner Scholars Program. Originally from Plano, Texas, Afroz earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a minor in Information Management and Health Informatics from the University of North Texas. Before joining Turner Scholars, Afroz worked with an Aviation Academy, where she discovered a passion for supporting students and helping them succeed. That experience inspired her to pursue a career in higher education, and she is excited to bring her enthusiasm for student-centered support to the Turner team. In her free time, she enjoys photography, trying new matcha and coffee spots, and traveling. She is also always looking for new places to explore around Dallas!
