Eligibility

The Turner Scholars Program is an invite-only program. To be eligible, prospective students must:

• Have received an SMU Merit Scholarship (Second Century, Scholars, SMU Distinguished Scholars, or Provost Scholars) 
• Be a first-generation college student, Pell Grant eligible as defined by FAFSA, or attend high school located in a rural or small town community
