J. Erik Jonsson Ethics Award

The J. Erik Jonsson Ethics Award is named in honor of the public-spirited former mayor of Dallas.  The Maguire Center is proud to present this award to people whose careers should be recognized, honored, and modeled.


The Ethics Essay Prize

The Ethics Essay Prize is an essay competition open to all undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at SMU. The competition is intended to encourage the development of ethical discernment, imagination, and thoughtful reflection among students.
