*** All submissions to the EPC should come through the Dedman College Dean’s Office. Proposals must first be approved by the Undergraduate or Graduate Council; the Dean’s Office will then submit the approved proposal to the EPC on the department's behalf. Any new programs proposed to begin in the fall semester must receive EPC and Board approval by December of the preceding year.
Program proposals reviewed and recommended for approval by the EPC, Provost, and Board of Trustees in May 2026 will not be effective until Fall 2027.

Please note that program proposals reviewed and recommended for approval by the EPC, Provost, and Board of Trustees in December 2025 will not be effective until Fall 2026.
