Celebrating the Class of 2026!
The SMU Dedman College Ph.D. Hooding Ceremony will take place at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 14, 2026 in Oren Auditorium located in Hughes-Trigg Student Center on the SMU Campus.
The SMU All-University Commencement Ceremony will take place at 7:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Gerald Ford Stadium. This event will include a keynote address from the 2026 commencement speaker and the official conferral of degrees. The evening will end with a fireworks show.
The SMU Dedman College of Humanities & Sciences will host one academic ceremony at 8:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 16, 2026 in Moody Coliseum located on the SMU Campus. This is an opportunity for graduates to celebrate as a cohort, hear remarks from the College dean and be presented with their official diploma cover.
