Internships

WL 4385 (Internship in Italian)

Professor consent is required to enroll in the course. Each intern must complete 120 onsite hours by the end of the semester in which the student enrolled in the Internship course. However, hours of work can start during the previous semester or during the summer. Hours are recorded in a work-log provided by the instructor and signed by the student mentor/supervisor. At the end of the internship, students will have acquired: first-hand linguistic, cultural and working experience, time management skills, and work ethic in an international environment. Because students will be able to use Italian language on a day-by-day basis in a working environment, they will also practice and reinforce grammar and vocabulary acquired during previous language classes.
