Biography
Sandra Duhé, Ph.D., MBA, is an Altshuler Distinguished Teaching Professor of Corporate Communication and Public Affairs in the SMU Meadows School of the Arts and an independent director of U.S. Lime and Minerals (NASDAQ: USLM). She began her corporate career as a financial analyst in the energy sector before transitioning into public affairs for three multinational companies. Her experience spans financial, risk, and merger communications; crisis response; community and media relations; and corporate brand management.
As a recipient of multiple teaching awards, Sandy enjoys helping students and professionals unlock the complexities of data analytics and business principles to become more impactful strategists, communicators, and advocates for the companies they care about. She consults nationally for corporate clients facing high-risk situations when truth and credibility matter most. Her latest book, Business for Communicators: The Essential Guide to Success in Corporate and Public Affairs (Routledge), was published in 2022.
