Administrative Space Standards

SMU administrative space recommendations are guidelines utilized by the university and leadership to optimize space utilization while creating continuity and use of space across the campus.

Standardization at SMU

All space standards are drafted by the Department of Space Management and presented to and vetted by university leadership for approval and enactment.

Design Guidelines

Space standards are included in the Design Guidelines utilized by Project Management and our contracted partners in the design and execution of new and renovated spaces across campus.
