Hispanic Youth Ministry Convocation

APRIL 6 - 8 

This event, commencing with the Barton Lecture on Thursday evening and concluding on Saturday at lunch, will gather those engaged in ministry with Hispanic youth for an enriching time of learning and networking. Participants will select a focus area of ministry and attend workshops led by field experts. The experiences of Hispanic youth and young adults will be highlighted.

Participants will:
1. Identify new ways of conceiving of Hispanic/Latino ministry with youth and young adults.
2. Learn from the lived experiences of Hispanic youth.
3. Be exposed to academic and practical resources to aid participants in ministry with Hispanic youth and young adults.
4. Be challenged to create the foundation of a network that will support ongoing dialogue on ministry with Hispanic youth and young adults.

The Barton Lecture

The Barton Lecture will be held at Great Hall in Highland Park United Methodist Church on Thursday, April 6. Dinner is included. Parking information will be emailed to attendees.
