Come experience a wide range of theological mini-courses for laypersons, community leaders and clergy at the annual Perkins Summit for Faith and Learning with a diverse panel of speakers, to be held March 24-25.

DALLAS (SMU) – Come experience a wide range of theological mini-courses for laypersons, community leaders and clergy at the annual Perkins Summit for Faith and Learning. Somewhere between seminary and Sunday School, Summit leverages the rich learning community of Perkins School of Theology to provide a unique, self-paced experience in theological education — for the church and world. Come for a half-day or spend the whole two days with us. Participants are free to design a customized Summit plan!

Choose from a selection of relevant, insightful courses on the Bible, theology and spirituality taught by Perkins faculty, staff and special guests — plus an opportunity to learn from esteemed guest lecturer Dr. Myles Werntz, Associate Professor of Theology and Baptist House Director at Abilene Christian University Graduate School of Theology.

You won't want to miss a featured Lunch and Learn Lecture on Friday with Dr. Werntz for $25, which includes an hour-long presentation and a catered buffet lunch. All other courses are three hours long and cost $35. Parking, meals and CEU certificates are available for additional fees.

Perkins School of Theologyfounded in 1911, is one of five official University-related schools of theology of The United Methodist Church.
