Non-SMU Proctored Testing

We offer fee-based, proctored testing for SMU students and community members.

If you need assistance with testing for another institution other than SMU, we can help! In-person proctoring is offered by appointment weekdays for a nominal fee.  We do not administer exams that require speaking, listening, lockdown browser or software downloads.

Visit the UTC Portal to schedule your test, pay the proctoring fee and accept our guidelines for test proctoring.  Appointments must be made at least 7 business days prior to your institution's testing date.

Materials and proctoring instructions for both paper-based and computer-based tests can be submitted to universitytestingcenter@smu.edu  Materials must be received no later than 2 business days prior to our testing appointment.

We are located  in the basement of Clements Hall at 3100 Dyer Street nest to the Hughes-Trigg Student Center. Visit our website for campus maps and visitor parking information.

SMU students must present their current SMU ID. Non-SMU students must present a current, government-issued photo ID.  Bring authorized materials for use during your test, as well as a pre-paid USPS or courier envelope (US, FedEx) if your test cannot be returned electronically.
