Key Guidelines for New Interfolio Templates

Standardized templates

All candidates must use the university-approved templates. Tenure-track dossiers require five core items: CV, Research Dossier, Teaching Dossier, Service Statement, and a Selection of Scholarship.

Separate statements

Going forward, Research, Teaching, and Service statements must be separate documents (though a combined statement is permitted for the AY 26–27 cycle only).

Naming conventions

Professional file naming is required for all internal uploads (e.g., LastName, F._Internal Letter) to ensure clarity for reviewers.

*Please see Internal Case Details for exact nomenclature for each section.

Submission lock

Once a department releases a case to the CSU for review, the candidate dossier is locked and cannot be edited without central office permission.

Simplified requirements

Slip sheets and summary sheets are no longer required by the University.
