Zakaria Benyacoub

Bio

Zakaria is the Executive Director of Business Operations for Graduate Programs and Executive Education at the SMU Cox School of Business. He joined the SMU Cox team in 2005, where he has enjoyed enhancing his hospitality and academic experience.

Zakaria began his career in the hospitality industry in Chicago. Later, he worked for the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University (Chicago) where he developed his academic experience by serving executives and grad students during their stay at the James L. Allen Center through Event Logistics and Guest Services. He then moved to Dallas to work for Accenture, in its Facilities & Services department, honing his corporate skills.

Zakaria earned his MBA from the Cox School of Business in Dallas, and his Certificate of Facility Professional (FMP) from IFMA.

Zakaria earned the Boy Scout of America Wood Badge [Advance National Leadership Training], and has been volunteering for over 15 years. He currently serves as a Unit Commissioner.
