The Asian American Pacific Islander Leadership Development Program (ALDP) is a one-of-a-kind immersive learning experience dedicated to propelling today’s top-performing AAPI talent to become tomorrow’s business leaders. ALDP examines the obstacles keeping talent from being fully recognized and offers research-based suggestions for actions to help Asian talent grow in their careers and influence.

AAPI Leadership Development Program 2024
As a Center of Inclusive Leadership housed within Executive Education at the SMU Cox School of Business, the LLI is excited to announce the pilot of a Leadership Development Program created exclusively for Asian American Pacific Islander talent. The initial pilot will take place this Fall and is available to existing corporate partners and interested parties with the required leadership approval.
The program was created in response to interest from LLI corporate partners and developed under the leadership of Dr. Simon S. Mak, Executive Director of the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship and Professor of Practice, and Ana Rodriguez, LLI Executive Director. This new program aids in career advancement from strong individual contributor to leader of teams to business unit leader to executive.
