Adam Grant’s Vibe illuminates the surprising science behind strong connections. A vibe—a special connection between people that creates a spark—is an engine of happiness and success. Yet building meaningful ties is one of the most pressing problems of our time. As social media forces face-to-face interaction behind digital screens, communication gets outsourced to AI, and the world becomes more polarized than ever, our loneliness crisis shows no signs of slowing.

To reveal how we can forge faster, stronger, and longer bonds, Grant offers groundbreaking studies, expert insights, and myth-busting stories. He also opens up about his personal struggles and the lessons that transformed him from a shy introvert into an enthusiastic convener.

Building doors open at 6:00pm.

House doors open at 6:45pm. 

Drinks, including beer and wine, and pre-packaged snacks will be available for purchase by credit card at the event.

Preferred parking lots are M lot (VIP and Accessibility), followed by Daniel Parking Center, Lot Q, and Lot R.  Parking is $20.00 and only card payments are accepted.

  • All personal possessions must fit under the patron's designated seat

  • Outside alcoholic beverages (Select shows may sell beer and wine)
  • Strollers or Stroller Car Seat Combo
  • Personal property that is a potential hazard to others (e.g., chains, wallet chains or jewelry with spiked edges)
  • Weapons or items construed as weapons (e.g., guns, knives, sticks, fireworks)
  • Audio or video recording devices, professional cameras or cameras with removable lenses
  • McFarlin Memorial Auditorium is a smoke-free venue. This includes vapes, Juuls, and all e-cigarette devices. In addition, smoking is prohibited within twenty-five (25) feet of any entrance to building.
