GETTING STARTED

I've never applied for disability-related accommodations at SMU though DASS. Where do I start? 

If you've never applied to DASS for accommodations before, then you should start by reading the DASS website's Accommodations page.

I already have accommodations through DASS. Do I need to fill out one of the new Accommodation Request Forms?

No. If you've already requested accommodations through DASS at any point in the past, you will not be able to complete an Accommodation Request Form. Your information is already in DASS Link.

ACCOMMODATION LETTERS

I already have accommodations through DASS. How do I get my Accommodation Letters now?

It's easy! Just follow the instructions on the Semester Request page.

I have a class that doesn't have an instructor assigned yet. Should I send my DASS letter or wait?

You should wait until the instructor name is identified in my.SMU because the DASS letter will not go to anyone through DASS Link until there is an instructor assigned to the class.
