“The only constant in life is change,” declared the 6th century BCE philosopher, Heraclitus. Today we’re experiencing the rapidity of life with a global pandemic, the Black Lives Matter movement and the U.S. November presidential election all happening simultaneously —and it can be disorienting. But change is not new; it’s ancient. So, how do we adapt? Even more, how do we become leaders who move into change and help others in our churches, neighborhoods, cities and families along the way?
These pivotal questions provide the setting for this year’s Perkins Fall Convocation, “Leading Into Change.” Through engaging plenaries with internationally-recognized change agents Kirk Franklin and Tod Bolsinger, workshops led by skilled leaders and in collaboration with colleagues throughout the event, you will be equipped to generate ideas and possibilities for tomorrow and beyond. All of this in less than 24 hours and in a virtual format from the comfort of your own space.
