The Houston-Galveston Virtual Experience

Learn about hybrid graduate theological education through Perkins during a special information session where prospective students will hear from Perkins faculty, staff and current students. The program, which offers the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and Master of Arts in Ministry (M.A.M.) degrees, meets students where they are—spiritually and geographically—through hybrid courses and one-week intensives on-site in Houston. In addition, the event will include a presentation on the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.). Dr. James Lee, director, will speak and meet with interested students.

The flexible hybrid schedule provides an opportunity for students to attend seminary while still employed full- or part-time,  reduces the cost to students—both financially and in travel time—and creates a smoother transition for students and their families. Currently, students from across the United States are enrolled in the program, traveling to Houston for two weeks during the fall and spring semesters and for one-week intensives during January Term and summer, and continuing the courses via hybrid format throughout the terms.
