Financial Literacy

Your financial well-being is important. Whether you are paying for seminary, carrying credit card debt or looking ahead at the fiscal side of your ministry, Perkins wants to empower you to make wise financial decisions.

We take an encompassing view of your financial health so you can effectively take charge of your own financial path through seminary while learning valuable leadership skills for ministry.

The Perkins Financial Literacy Program is free to our students. Online resources also are available upon request.

We are graciously sponsored by the Lilly Endowment, Inc., where we are honored to share in the endowment's Theological School Initiative to Address Economic Challenges Facing Future Ministers.

Financial Literacy 2020

Perkins Financial Literacy will take you on a journey around the world. Monthly lunch and learn sessions feature financial topics presented by experts, plus culinary delights from the countries we "visit." Financial Literacy Passports are available at the Office of Enrollment Management in Selecman Hall and can be used to collect event stamps offered at each event. The travelers with the most stamps will qualify for the drawing of a $500 scholarship in April 2020.
