SMU students are engaged internationally and SMU offers a variety of pathways for students to go into the world as part of their SMU degree.
Study abroad in Asia is a fabulous way to enhance one's understanding of Asian life and language and approved programs can count towards degree requirements. SMU also sponsors group tours that expose students to real world issues, cultural hotspots, and historical events.
