Celebration of Lights rings in the holiday season
Each year, SMU's Celebration of Lights kicks off the holiday season with singing, reading of the Christmas Story and lighting the Main Quad.
SMU's annual Celebration of Lights kicks off the holiday season with the lighting of more than 100,000 decorative lights, luminarias lining the sidewalks, musicians performing songs of the season, and SMU President R. Gerald Turner reading the Christmas story from the New Testament. Following are videos and slide shows from the special annual event.
