Nicole Gawor wins the 2012 Green-Minute Video Contest
Nicole Gawor wins SMU’s fourth annual Green-Minute Video Contest.
First-year student Nicole Gawor scored a new iPad last month by winning SMU’s fourth annual Green Minute Video contest.
Sustainability Means U was this year’s theme for contestants to use as inspiration to produce messages, up to one-minute in length, to encourage sustainability on the Hilltop.
Gawor, a Dallas native studying engineering management, information and systems, featured a countdown ticker and driving music to underscore her 25-second message, “Recycling doesn’t require much time, it only requires individuals to make wiser decisions,” she says.
Her winning video will be featured Dec. 1 at TEDxSMU.
