SMU's Cox School of Business executive education program launches new blog focusing on management and leadership trends.

Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business Executive Education program just launched a blog about trends and ideas in management and leadership development. http://smucoxexeced.wordpress.com/

Frank Lloyd, associate dean of SMU Cox Executive Education, and professors and professionals who teach in the program will post blog items. The blog also includes information about upcoming events and programs.

Lloyd's "manifesto" on the blog says it will focus on "management development: what's working and not working; emerging trends; and new thinking."

"We improve individual and organizational performance by applying the resources of the Cox school to business problems," the manifesto states. "We do this well. We know we are good because clients obtain high impact from their educational experiences."

In addition to the manifesto, the blog includes:

• A post on "Building Customer and Constituten Relatonships."
• A post on "10 Steps to Successful Netotations."
• A post on "Fourth Dimension Leadership Brings Bottom-Line Dividences to Oil and Gas."

The SMU Cox Executive Education program offers professional development and corporate services to the public on an open enrollment basis.
