DALLAS - One magazine says that size 6 now passes for plus in the world of fashion. It's a shocking claim that's gaining worldwide attention.

The January issue of Plus Model Magazine revealed plus-sized models wear something between a 6 and a 14. A decade ago it was more like a 12 and 18. And they're not the only ones shrinking.

Plus Model claims the average model seen in ads weighs 23 percent less than the average woman. In fact, the magazine says many meet the clinical critera for anorexia.

Camille Kraeplin, the head of the fashion media department at SMU, and Nancy Upton, a fashion writer who made headlines after she won an online contest to model for American Apparel, join FOX 4's Heather Hays to talk about the topic.
