SMU-in-Taos events and classes are being held as scheduled

The Southern Methodist University campus at Taos, New Mexico, remains open and all classes and events are being held as scheduled. Although the campus recently experienced some smoke from the wildfires near Los Alamos some 60 miles to the southwest, the air is now clear.

The Southern Methodist University campus at Taos, New Mexico, remains open and all classes and events are being held as scheduled. Although the campus recently experienced some smoke from wildfires near Los Alamos some 60 miles to the southwest, the air is now clear.

SMU-in-Taos is continuously monitoring air quality at the campus using detection equipment and visual observation and will notify the campus community if a danger exists.  For more information about SMU-in-Taos, call 575-758-8322.
