Biography
Lynne Jackson has taught forty years and currently teaches music education at Southern Methodist University and also serves as a wind pedagogy specialist for the Berkner Area in the Richardson Independent School District, Richardson, Texas. Lynne grew up in Michigan and attended the University of Michigan where she studied with Clifford Lillya and performed four years under the baton of William D. Revelli. She received her masters degree in music education from Vandercook College of Music. In July, 2010, Ms. Jackson was awarded the “Meritorious Achievement Award” by the Texas Bandmasters Association.
