On November 21, 2023, the Italian program had the honor of hosting a webinar to celebrate the 14th national day of Italian small and medium enterprises. The event, mainly designed for our students majoring and minoring in Italian and the for Italian community of Dallas, brought together key institutional representatives such as Vincenzo Arcobelli, Representative General Council of Italians Abroad (CGIE), Massimo Bitonci, Undersecretary at Ministry of Enterprises and Made In Italy, Andrea Giuffrida, president of the Texas Scientific Italian Community and Mauro Lorenzini, the Italian Consul General of Houston.
The companies represented were Pininfarina of America, Lombardi Family Concepts, Monzesi S.p.A., Valobra Jewelry Atelier and Tesmec USA. Thank you to all the amazing panelists (Claudio Da Soller, Alberto Lombardi, Riccardo Pessina, Franco Valobra and Andrea Zamboni) for sharing their successful stories and for "opening" their companies to our students!
