    Dr. Shane Goodwin is an Associate Dean and a Professor of Practice in Finance at the Cox School, with over 30 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, and private equity, having held senior roles at firms like Goldman Sachs and Wells Fargo, and academic fellowships at Harvard and Columbia. He currently serves on multiple corporate and nonprofit boards, advises on shareholder activism and governance, and has led over $90 billion in M&A and capital markets transactions.

He counsels clients through the process of complex business litigation, including general business disputes, fraud claims, breach of fiduciary duty cases, and complex business bankruptcy litigation. He has served as litigation counsel in more than 100 cases in state and federal courts, as well as FINRA and AAA arbitrations.

Sumners Scholar.
