  • Conference Location and Map

    Thunderstorms are predicted on Friday morning in Dallas so be sure to pack your umbrella! We will have a shuttle available to get you to the Collins Center from the Lumen Hotel starting about 7:40am, then 7:55am, 8:05am and 8:30am as needed. One of our SMU Cox staff will be in the lobby to direct you to the shuttle or to the Collins Center by foot if you would rather walk.

    The Collins Center and the Lumen hotel are highlighted, as well as a walking path between the two locations.

    The conference is being held at the Collins Center, at 3150 Binkley Ave., Dallas, Texas, 75205.

    The Binkley Avenue Garage (#64 on the map) is recommended as it is across the street from the Collins Center (#60). Visitor entrance is at the corner of Binkley Avenue and Airline Road. $10.00 per entry using the pay-station or a ParkMobile Permit can be purchased in advance from the link above. The QR code on the permit is used to enter. Visitor parking is level 2 and above.

  • The Lumen: A Dallas Boutique Hotel

    The Lumen Hotel is a Dallas Boutique Hotel across from SMU, and is pleased to welcome attendees for the Marketing Science: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Conference @ SMU Cox.
     
    Once a charming 1960s motel, The Lumen has been transformed into a mid-century retreat in an ideal location directly across from Southern Methodist University (SMU), along a tree-lined border of the Highland Park neighborhood.The Lumen's address is 6101 Hillcrest Ave, Dallas, Texas, 75205.

    It is approximately a seven-to-ten minute walk from the hotel to the conference.

    Reserve a room for the conference. The Conference rate is available until March 2. After that date, the rate will change to the regular hotel rate based on the room selected.

  • Airport Travel

    There are two major airports that are in close proximity to SMU: DFW International Airport, which is an approximately 45 minute drive to SMU, and Dallas Love Field, which is an approximately 15 - 20 minute drive. Alaska, Delta, and Southwest Airlines operate from Dallas Love Field.
