About
Dr. Cawthon is a licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in the State of Texas. She holds a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Wesleyan. During the course of her studies, she was able to obtain Level II Certification in Restoration Therapy under the tutelage of founder, Terry Hargrave, and is also an EMDR certified therapist.
Her clinical experience has centered on working with trauma survivors and families in crisis in a variety of settings. She currently serves as the Senior Director of Programs and Clinical Director of the Turning Point Rape Crisis Center in Plano, TX.
In addition to her work at the Turning Point, Dr. Cawthon enjoys supervising associates, seeing clients in her private practice, and doing marriage intensives.
