Acting as an agent for the University in regulating work involving such materials, the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) will ensure that research involving rDNA meets all applicable safety, legal, and ethical requirements.

Research Compliance is in the process of implementing the IBC module of the Mentor Electronic Management System. More information coming soon.
Environmental Health and Safety
Research Compliance works closely with Environmental Health and Safety to provide guidance, oversight, and training regarding work with rDNA.
Committee Information
IBC meetings are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
