- Submit an online application form required documents
- Pay IEP application fee
- Contact iep@smu.edu with any inquiries
Admit
- Receive an acceptance letter
- Pay for a shipping label for your I20 to be shipped
- Receive your I20
- Pay for a SEVIS Fee
- Apply for a U.S. visa at any US Embassy to schedule a visa interview
- Prepare for your visa interview>
- Once your visa approved, plan and pack for travel
- Search for housing options online
Arrive
- Attend IEP check-in session, take a placement test, and attend a mandatory orientation at assigned dates
- Pick up your class textbooks from the SMU bookstore
- Enroll into your level courses
- Pay IEP tuition & fee by the first class date
- Meet your new instructor and classmates
