  • Pay IEP application fee
  • Contact IEP  with any inquiries
  • Admit

  • Receive an acceptance letter
  • Pay for a shipping label for your I20 to be shipped
  • Receive your I20
  • Pay for a SEVIS Fee
  • Apply for a U.S. visa at any US Embassy to schedule a visa interview
  • Prepare for your visa interview
  • Once your visa approved, plan and pack for travel
  • Search for housing options online
  • Arrive

  • Attend IEP check-in session, take a placement test, and attend a mandatory orientation at assigned dates
  • Pick up your class textbooks from the SMU bookstore
  • Enroll into your level courses
  • Pay IEP tuition & fee by the first class date
  • Meet your new instructor and classmates
