Italian Minor Requirements

The Italian Minor consists of 20 credit hours:

ITAL 2401 - Intermediate Italian: First Term
ITAL 2402 - Intermediate Italian: Second Term
ITAL 3355 - Advanced Italian Conversation
ITAL 3357 - Grammar and Composition or ITAL 3373 - Italian Culture

2 additional Italian courses (4000-level): ITAL 4223, ITAL 4324, ITAL 4367, ITAL 4368, ITAL 4381, or ITAL 4382 (the following courses may also count toward the minor if course work is submitted in Italian: WL 2395, WL 3390, WL 3391, WL 3393, and WL 3394)

 

2012 UC requirements fulfilled by an Italian Minor: 

  • 4 pillars (C&A I, 2 C&A II, IIC 1)
  • 9 proficiencies (SL, 4 writing, 2 oral communication, 2 global engagement)
