Dr. Dubal is a Licensed Psychologist (LP) and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) with the Texas Behavioral Executive Council (Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists) and the Clinic Director at SMU's Psychology Clinic. She is also a Nationally Certified School Psychologist through the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
Dr. Dubal earned her doctorate in School Psychology from Loyola University Chicago (APA-Accredited). She completed her doctoral training at Cypress Fairbanks ISD (APA-Accredited) and postdoctoral training at Irving ISD and Momentous Institute in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Dubal serves on the board of the Suicide and Crisis Center of North Texas. She is a Certified Mindfulness Instructor through Mindful Schools and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Dr. Dubal works with a private, group practice, Carewright Clinical Services, where she conducts full psychological, psychoeducational, autism diagnostic, and neuropsychological assessments. She also provides therapy services, utilizing a person-centered approach, along with cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness-based interventions.
Outside of work, Dr. Dubal enjoys walking, hiking, reading, dancing, and painting.
