Tuition and Fees

The SMU Board of Trustees has approved a new tuition rate for the Doctor of Ministry program for the 2011-2012 academic year of $731 per term hour, with discounted student fees of $93 per hour in Fall and Spring terms. Fees are not charged in January or Summer term. The new tuition and fees are effective on June 1.

The Lengnick Tuition Grants

Persons wishing to be considered for 2011-2012 financial grants from the Polly Barr and Lewis Wood Lengnick Endowment must file a current Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. Term awards will be given on a first-come, first-served basis with preference to students who have successfully filed the FAFSA by March 1. When filling out the FAFSA be sure to include the SMU school code: 003613.

To receive a grant you must be properly registered for 2011-2012 courses. Students seeking Lengnick grants are also welcome to submit a one-page letter to the office of the director of Advanced Ministerial Studies explaining any special circumstances that should be taken into account.
