Curriculum vitae

My research interests are at the intersection of the philosophy of mind, the philosophy of language, and metaphysics. In particular, I am interested in the nature of content of thought and language; and how language and thought come into contact. More generally, I have interests in metaphilosophy, namely how the philosophical proclivities of thinkers inform their approach to philosophical theorizing, and historical interests centering around modern western philosophy (particularly Descartes and Hume) and early analytic philosophy. I am also interested in virtue theory and how philosophy may be used to guide personal development.
