Alyssa Reiman

Alyssa Reiman earned her Ph.D. in History from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in 2017. She received her B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, graduating summa cum laude with a major in History and minors in English and Italian. Alyssa is passionate about building connection with students and supporting them on their educational journeys. She particularly loves helping students learn how to express their ideas clearly and feel more comfortable with the writing process. At SMU, Alyssa works as an academic advisor in the University Advising Center and an instructor for WRTR 1312.
