Employer Onboarding Sessions

Our staff host regularly scheduled Employer Onboarding Sessions to discuss how we can help your organization meet its recruiting goals. We encourage all employers to attend an onboarding session to understand more about SMU students and the Hegi Family Career Development Center. These sessions are hosted every other week on Thursdays at 11:00am. Please follow this link to register for an Employer Onboarding Session.

  • Information Session – These allow for time to discuss your company to SMU students who are interested to learn more.

  • Insight Panel – At certain points throughout the year, our office hosts panels related to specific topics or affinity groups for our employer partners to share their perspectives and advice with students.

  • Job Shadowing/Career Connections - This program allows a current SMU student to shadow an employee to learn more about the company culture and the day-to-day responsibilities of the position.

  • Site Visits - Site visits are a great opportunity for students to gain firsthand knowledge of your company culture through an in-person visit.

  • On Campus Interviews – Our office is happy to reserve space in our office for your staff to conduct on campus interviews for open positions.
